Industrial Site Services Co Ltd. (ISSL) is in the ACC Workplace Safety Management Practices Programme at Tertiary level.

We also recently signed up to the Department of Labour Partners in Action Pledge to help improve Health and Safety in the Construction Industry.

ISS is also a member of Site Safe, Scaffolding Access and  Rigging NZ ,(SARNZ) and the Crane Association of NZ.

 We have implemented a drug and alcohol policy and carry out pre-employment and random testing.
Our team of employees based at the Refining NZ, Marsden Point, recently received the Transfield Worley Annual Health Safety and Environmental Contractor Award  for Significant Improvement in HSE Performance
 
Health & Safety Project Officer Support Services:
ISSL is able to supply experienced staff in HSE for project work and development of site specific safety plans.
 We have staff trained to NZQA Unit Standards or who are studying towards a national certificate in their relevant trades.
Our HSE Manager has over 16 years experience in the HSE Profession and has a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
 

Confined Space Management Resources.  We have a team of trained confined space professionals with the experience in providing safety watch, gas monitoring and emergency response. Team members are experienced in confined space risk assessment and development of Safe Work Method Statements and Job Safety Analysis.
Our team have trained in emergency response and pre hospital emergency care. They regularly carry out emergency drills as part of their on site services.
Our team has been involved in major plant maintenance outages / shut work and maintain a high standard of professionalism.
