OVERVIEW
Industrial Site Services supplied rigging expertise for a challenging install of milk powder blending machines through an opening that was 12.5 meters above the ground level. The company had imported 12 containers full of blending equipment from Holland. This was the largest installation of dairy equipment ISS had ever done. An installation of 2 x 8 ton blenders was the largest of it’s kind in New Zealand.

- Provide mechanical riggers and specialist rigging expertise
- Scaffolding
- Representing a client remotely as they were based in Holland
- Engineering and designing for access of equipment
- Management and execution of Industrial Site Services’ site specific safety plan
HIGHLIGHTS
- The equipment had to be handled with extreme care so as to not damage the special coating on the stainless steel equipment
- Innovative designing of lift shaft and custom scaold lifting frames were required for the job
- Industrial Site Services fabricated it’s own hoist and built an elevator in order to get the gear up onto four levels
- Zero damage to equipment and zero incidents / accidents
- ISS riggers won an outstanding safety award for the project
- Due to the exceptional results of this project Industrial Site Services has been awarded ongoing work with this customer
