The installation process combines 2 parts. The civil works, digging a foundation hole 4m x 4m x 900mm, installation of a 440kg reo cage, boxing and about 25 ton of concrete.
Then the installation of a 800kg, 10m tower, in 4 pieces, grouting, earth pins and conduit.
The views are amazing and the challenging aspects of getting these towers to remote places, development of a new civil works capability within ISS and having to solve complex delivery and land owner issues had made this project and ongoing achievement.
