Ruru tower

ABOUT THE JOB:

Industrial Site Services were engaged to carry out the rebuild of Ruru Communications Tower.

This is a Live Communications/Radio tower located in Te Miro, Cambridge situated roughly 450m above sea level.

This is a major tower for Radio all around the central north island so not only were the weather conditions challenging but also being a live tower, RF Fields were very high in areas so the team required RF suits and monitors whilst carrying out these works. This project encompassed almost all of ISS’s expertise to pull this job together, it was a great show of team work across all disciplines with ISS.
