Boco Rock Wind Farm

OVERVIEW

Located 10km south-west of Nimmitabel in New South Wales the Boco Rock Wind Farm is the first for Continental Wind Partners in Australia and consists of 58 GE 1.7-100 MW turbines and 9 GE 1.6-100 MW turbines. Its max output of 113 megawatts is enough to power 50,000 homes. Spread over 13 properties the installation logistics of these 33-storey General Electric turbines was challenging projects that will supply power to the Essential Energy owned lines at Steeple Flat.
