The Korat wind farms were ISS’s first job in Thailand. This farm consisted of 90 SWT 2.3-101 MW VS turbines that when working at full capacity have an output of up to 207 megawatts. At the time of completion in late 2012, Korat 1 & 2 were Southeast Asia’s largest wind farm. It also forms part of Wind Energy Holding Co Ltd’s plan to develop the production of 1000 megawatts of power from wind energy by 2020.
