Overview
A turn-key project where Industrial Site Services team managed and executed all the requirements. The project involved a lot of key tasks. These included installation of structural strengthening of beams, fabrication and installation of stairs due to change in access requirements, removing a turbine sitting on a concrete plinth, scaffold access from walkways to areas where the lift couldn’t reach and stabilisation of a gantry crane in case of a seismic event.

Highlights
- The work was conducted during the annual shutdown. This coincided with other shutdown maintenance / servicing work.
- This work was completed on time and on budget with minimal disruption to other parties.
- The team executed the technically difficult task of removing the turbine with finesse.
- The challenging scaffolding setup with drop protection and safe worker access was delivered with experience and skills of a world class team.
